Cuba City will celebrate the holiday season beginning with Small Business Saturday on November 26th and continuing through its well-known Christmas Glow Parade on the evening of December 10th. The theme for the celebration will be A Candyland Christmas. Several special activities and prizes will be a part of the City’s Small Business Saturday.

The Christmas Glow activities on December 10th, will include a Home and Business Holiday Decoration Contest, the Cuba City Lioness Cookie Walk, a 5K Fun Run/Walk on the 10th followed by holiday music, Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus and the City’s famous Christmas Glow Parade that evening.

Here are a couple of photos from last years holiday celebration.

Businesses and community organizations are encouraged to have special sales or activities during the holiday season. This includes discounts on select merchandise, menu or drink specials, bake sales or music. Sponsorship opportunities in support of the event are welcomed, ranging from individual donations at $30 up to the $125 or $200 level for businesses. These funds will help to offset the cost of prizes, supplies and the promotion of the free event. All sponsors and participants will be included in the promotional materials for the entire Christmas in Cuba City celebration.

Additional information is available on the Cuba City website at www.cubacity.org or the Cuba City Chamber of Commerce Facebook page. For further information, interested parties should contact Bridget Wilson at the Hometown Pharmacy 608-744-2440.
