By now you've seen that I enjoy trying all the different local eats, brews, and beverages our Midwest area has to offer. And I have got to say! Iowans make some pretty killer brews! Fast forward to today; I was finally gonna spend that Christmas gift card to Dimensional Brewing Company (I know it's almost September; BTW Thanks Mike).

Now, it has been a little while since I last visited, but the fact remains, this place is one cool hang-out spot. It was a beautiful day and the front windows were wide open! Dimensional encourages guests to drink some beer, play some board games, listen to some tunes. And if you're not a beer drinker? They have wine and hard cider options as well.

I'm an IPA guy and they definitely had me covered with a variety of choices. I was stuck deciding between two, so I chose both. They had cans ready to-go so I grabbed one called High School Nickname; a Double Dry Hopped Imperial IPA made exclusively with their hand selected Mosaic hops. The other was Digital Distraction (somehow this seems appropriate); a hazy IPA made with Strata and Citra hops. Ladies I haven't left you out. I mean, what kind of guy would I be if I didn't grab my wife something I thought she would enjoy. So my third pick of the day was something called Magic Clouds. And, I'm actually really wanting to taste this one; the description simply reads cotton-candy kettle sour. Yum!

Now I took my cans to go; but you can always sit and relax inside. The atmosphere is modern industrial, adding to the warm and inviting atmosphere.

And the taps are always up and running with an awesome stock of classic and rotating special brews; speaking of which, they have a very interesting dill pickle beer available right now.
