Stunning Illinois Hotel Has Private Pool in Each Suite

If you're looking at an exotic getaway that isn't worlds away from the Tri-State area, yet just far enough not to be considered a "staycation," there is an incredible suite that might be calling your name.

Sybaris Pool Suites is the definition of luxury. With locations in Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin, it was voted "the best romantic giveaway in the United States" by the International Hospitality Rating Bureau. Each of their immaculately designed suites includes a custom designed bed, TV, DVD player, stereo, CD player, hair dryer, toiletries, and even spa robes!

But the best part and the key selling point? Each suite is equipped with a pool of some kind. Even their cheapest option includes a whirlpool bath! From the sounds of it, their pools are second to none:

• Pools are meticulously cared for by trained technicians
• Diagnostic Systems test pH balance and sanitation levels
• Advanced systems filter the entire pool continuously throughout the day
• Each suite is thoroughly inspected prior to your arrival

As you might expect, Sybaris has become a go-to birthday and anniversary present for couples of all ages. They've proven to be popular, even with only a handful of locations, as they also offer annual memberships.

However, as you can expect, paradise and luxury isn't cheap! I played around with the reservation page on their website, which admittedly, was super easy to do. For their Northbrook location, a two-night stay in their basic, "Classic Whirlpool Suite" over the weekend (Saturday - Monday) is going to run you about $508 before taxes/fees.

If you want a full swimming pool, the total package is going to run you a tick over $1,000 before fees.

Depending on which location you choose, the top-of-the-line option is either the "Majestic Swimming Pool Suite" or the "Chalet Swimming Pool Suite."

The "Majestic" suite comes with a private swimming pool, which is heated to about 90 degrees with an attached hot tub. There's also a waterfall, a misting steam-room, a massage chair, and a fireplace!

Meanwhile, the "Chalet" suite is equipped with a private garage and features the same amenities as the "Majestic," although the pool also features a 10-foot waterslide.
