The ‘Star Wars: Episode 7’ trailer just premiered online last week, but if you’re already starved for new footage (and, who could blame you after that teaser), we’ve got word on when you can see the next ‘Star Wars’ trailer. The bad news is you’re going to have to wait a while. The good news is, you were going to see ‘Avengers 2’ anyway, so now you have the added bonus of seeing a new ‘Star Wars: Episode 7' trailer before Iron Man and Captain America start punching on some evil robots.

In a move that should really not be all that surprising, Slashfilm has confirmed that the next ‘Star Wars: Episode 7' trailer will indeed be attached to ‘The Avengers 2' next May. Disney has two the biggest and most anticipated movies set for 2015, so it only makes sense to pair them up to blow everyone’s mind all at once. Yay for corporate synergy!

Now, if you can’t wait for May 1, you have some options...

We have heard through some reliable sources that the same trailer will debut first at Star Wars Celebration, which runs from April 16-19 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California. In fact, we’ve heard that ‘Star Wars: Episode 7' will have a large presence at that fan experience, possibly even with the cast being introduced to the public for the first time. Tickets for that event are still available, but if/when they officially announce a 'Star Wars: Episode 7' presence, that will change, so you might want to purchase yours now if you have any inclination of attending.

Another possibility is the chance of seeing a ‘Star Wars’ Super Bowl trailer. It’s far from a sure thing, but Slashfilm notes that the iTunes page for ‘Star Wars: Episode 7' lists the just-debuted trailer as the “First Teaser” for the film. That could indicate that a “Second Teaser” is coming before the full trailer debuts next May. One option is for another brief :60 teaser to run in February during the Super Bowl. Disney has debuted spots at the past two Super Bowls (this year for ‘Need For Speed’ and the previous year for ‘Iron Man 3' and ‘The Lone Ranger’), so it’s possible they’ll be interested in promoting again.

‘The Avengers 2' opens in theaters on May 1, 2015 and ‘Star Wars: Episode 7’ opens in theaters on December 18, 2015.
