Pete Davidson Says He’s Living With His Mom, Has a Basement ‘Man Cave’
Pete Davidson admitted he's "kinda" living in his mom's basement.
The Saturday Night Live star stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday (April 18), where he revealed he and his mom recently bought a house together, adding that he remodeled the basement into his own "man cave." Before that, he was living in an apartment with his then-fiancée Ariana Grande in New York.
"So I live with my mom… well, we bought a house together, but nobody believes that. So I live with my mom, kinda," he shared. "So I have, like, a basement that’s mine, but that’s, like, an apartment, so I live underneath her."
"I was calling it The Man Cave, but the Mulaneys told me that if I call it that they will no longer be my friend," he said, referring to comedian John Mulaney and his wife, Anna. "So, now I call it The Basement like The Ohio State University. I don't like that college. It's the 'the' that's the important part."
The 25-year-old later joked that he's "lonely" while discussing his favorite game, Mortal Combat 11. Though he didn't elaborate, we can't help but wonder if there's trouble in paradise with girlfriend Kate Beckinsale.
“There’s this guy that I’d really like to kill [in the game] ’cause he looks like a real douchebag," he explained. “Also he has, like, a hot daughter, which is weird because I’m, like, lonely and she’s, like, not real. So there’s that in the video game as well—sexual confusion. The effects are, like, really good.”
