Living in the midwest, most of us need no reminder about deer-season.

Maybe some do.  November is deer mating season.

According to the Department of Motor Vehicles and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration you're three and a half times more likely to crash into one this month than any other time of the year.

Worse yet, about 200 Americans die in the million-or-so deer-vehicle crashes each year.

The NHTSA recommends you especially use caution while driving at dawn and dusk.

Here are some other statistics and driving tips to use during deer season!

Safe driving!
