Police Identify Man Tragically Hit and Killed by Train in Downtown Dubuque, IA(UPDATE)

Authorities today released the name of the man killed by a train Thursday in Dubuque.
54 year old Kenneth Zaug, of Dubuque was struck and killed around Noon yesterday. Zaug was pronounced dead at the scene.

One man was killed around Noon today in downtown Dubuque when he was struck by a train near 11th and Elm Street. The Man's name is being withheld pending the notification of his family.
According to the Dubuque Telegraph Herald, authorities say at this point, the accident does not appear suspicious.
The tracks were closed for nearly two and half hours while authorities investigated the accident.
