This time, it's not a stick shift, it's a stick shaft.

It's a marketing campaign as American as the Coca-Cola Santa Claus: the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile. Kraft Heinz says the Weinermobiles first hit the roads in 1936 and they've been stopping at events around 8 countries ever since.

Now, they're hiring drivers for the Weinermobiles, known as 'Hotdoggers'.

The listing on Kraft Heinz's website says that it's a full-time, one-year gig that's open to recent college grads (a Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in something like PR or communications). Who wouldn't want this as their first post-grad resume job?

'Hotdoggers' will drive the 27-foot-long Weinermobile across the country (visiting upwards of 30 states) to hundreds of events. Of course, there's a PR aspect to the job. They will also be content creators, documenting their journey with videos and social media content.

Oscar Meyer says they're looking for 12 'Hotdoggers' to hire and applications are open until January 31st. So if this is something you're invariably destined to do, get that resume submitted ASAP.

The Oscar Meyer Hotdogger Program was developed in 1988. It starts and ends in the last week of June. Hotdoggers do get partners (to help with the drive you sicko) and they will switch regions and partners halfway through the contract.

This could be your one chance to "see the country through the windshield of the iconic Oscar Mayer Wienermobile". In case you're wondering, the base salary to spend a year driving a massive hot dog around the country is $35,600, according to the listing.
