At some point, we've all thought, "There should really be one of those restaurants here."

First off, let's remember there are plenty of good local restaurants to enjoy in the Quad Cities. Burgers, fries, sandwiches or sushi, you can find whatever you're craving.

But we do have certain fast-food restaurants we're fans of (Chick-fil-A for me) and we want them to have locations at least nearby that we can pop into. So that's why we asked you on our social media what chains you would like to see in the Quad Cities.

The places that you mentioned run the restaurant gamut: there are nicer dine-in places, delightfully greasy fast-food places, and actually a lot of burger places. It seems like we want Texas-based chains, like the Iowa mayor that's campaigned for a Buc-ee's.

We already have some of the country's most popular fast-food restaurants, which statistically include McDonald's (duh), Burger King, KFC, Chick-fil-A, Subway, and Taco Bell. And this time of the year, Starbucks is especially popular (again, duh).

I hear plenty of people complain about the QCA, what it has and what it hasn't, so let's open the floor: what chain restaurants do you want here? Although it is true that if we finally got one on this list, it would probably open in the most inconvenient spot somewhere on 53rd, Kimberly, or Avenue of the Cities.
