
Massive Restaurant, Arcade Chain Coming to Davenport
After months of speculation following the filing of a liquor application, the City of Davenport has confirmed the arrival of a restaurant/arcade chain known for its multi-generational appeal as well as its lively TV commercials.
As of February 2024, the company has 158 locations in the United States, and has become a wickedly popular, comprehensive location that has a full-service restaurant, a full bar, and a video arcade. The chain is known as a place where kids can play games and dine on appetizers and entrees, and adults can watch sports and enjoy an assortment of cocktails.

Dave & Buster's is Coming to Davenport:
The City of Davenport confirmed via Facebook that Dave & Buster's would be coming soon. Last year, the company filed a liquor application in Davenport, which kickstarted the buzz and excitement for the chain to make its presence known in the Quad Cities.
At present, there is only one Dave & Buster's location in Iowa, specifically in West Des Moines. The introduction of a location in Davenport would grow that to two and likely draw individuals from areas like Cedar Rapids and Dubuque.
The City of Davenport took to Facebook to announce the chain's imminent arrival:
Get ready to Eat, Drink, Play & Watch — because Dave & Buster’s is coming early 2026! Experience next-level games, private Game Suites, a giant WOW Wall with 40-foot screens for epic sports viewing, and a chef-crafted menu paired with innovative cocktails - per the City of Davenport's Facebook post
Jobs Coming to the Davenport Area:
The City of Davenport also revealed that hiring for the new Dave & Buster's location will "ramp up" near the end of the year. You can find out more about those opportunities at this link. The location is expected to open in early 2026.
