Each week, the Dubuque Regional Humane Society is highlighting a "Pet of the Week." The Pet of the Week is available to be adopted via the Humane Society. This week, the Dubuque Regional Humane Society is highlighting another amazing four-legged friend.

This week, the Dubuque Regional Humane Society is highlighting two turtles, Big Bo and Vinny. Don't let the names fool you. They are both female turtles in need of a forever home.

Big Bob (7-years-old) and Vinny (5-years-old) were rehomed with the Dubuque Regional Humane Society recently. Their ideal home is one with people committed to the long-term ownership and responsibility of turtles. Big Bob and Vinny are red-eared sliders, specifically, and they can live up to 30-40 years in captivity if they are cared for by knowledgeable and compassionate individuals.

Their personalities are kind and gentle. They enjoy sitting on their rock under the warm light, and they enjoy hiding in their own personal cave. They'd love to make a home in your own personal turtle sanctuary, if given the opportunity!
