The Wisconsin State Fair is continuing to build its lineup of performances for the 2026 Main Stage music series, with a new addition just announced today.

Each year, Wisconsin State Fair organizers try to have a variety of music acts for the fair's main entertainment stage, covering as much of the musical genre spectrum as possible.

To date, country star Bailey Zimmerman, pop-punk rockers All-American Rejects, and contemporary Christian acts For King + Country with Rachel Lampa are among the performers announced. Today's addition brings a pop act with top-40 appeal to the mix.

A pop band consisting of three brothers is the latest addition. No, it isn't the Jonas Brothers. AJR is the newest piece to the Wisconsin State Fair Main Stage lineup, scheduled to play the second weekend of the 2026 fair.

AJR, named after brothers Adam, Jack, and Ryan, have been together as a musical group since the early 2000s, but really got into the music scene in the mid-2010s with their first studio album in 2015.

The trio really broke out in 2020 with their song "Bang!",  with follow-up singles like "Way Less Sad" and "World's Smallest Violin".

AJR will be the headlining act for Saturday, August 15, at the 2026 Wisconsin State Fair, with a yet-to-be-named special guest to join the evening's entertainment. Tickets are on sale via the Wisconsin State Fair website, ranging from $78 to $99.
