A viral craze amongst social media influences, TikTokers, and vloggers alike is now available at a popular regional grocery store in the Midwest.

You might've seen that one of the latest food crazes sweeping TikTok is something known as "Dubai Chocolate Bars." At first blush, these chocolate bars appear ordinary, but inside, many house a green, almost mossy-like substance. They were exclusive to Dubai until a company known as Nuts Factory began importing them for sale all across the country.

So what makes the Dubai Chocolate Bar so special? The candy is inspired by "knafeh," a Middle Eastern dessert made with kataifi, sweet attar syrup, and layers of pistachio and cream. The milk chocolate exterior, which is made unique with a multi-colored, hand-splatter-painted design, houses a mixture of crispy knafeh bits and pistachio cream.

It sounds like a flavor explosion. I won't be one to find out (my tree nut allergy prevents me from eating pistachios). I've had to watch this trend take off from the sidelines, and it sucks, for the record.

However, those without such an allergy will now be able to look to Hy-Vee for Dubai Chocolate Bars. Per a press release from the grocery store, which can be found in eight states, including Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin, Hy-Vee will be stocking the trending item. They successfully sourced a supplier for the viral chocolate bars, and they are already popping up in various stores' respective candy aisles.

Lomar President Matt Beenblossom spoke about the addition of Dubai Chocolate Bars to Hy-Vee's candy aisles, per the aforementioned press release:

Hy-Vee is thrilled to bring this trending item to our customers. Thanks to our team, we are able to source and bring these types of popular products that our customers see all over social media right to our local Hy-Vee stores - Lomar President Matt Beenblossom, per a Hy-Vee press release
