FX’s ‘Fargo’ Trailer: “You Think This Could Be, Like, An Organized Crime Thing?”
FX's Coen brothers-adapted series 'Fargo' has released a number of provocative teasers to date, don't cha know, but you're darn-tootin' we had our first honest look at the story. The first full trailer for 'Fargo' has arrived, starring such fan-favorites as 'Breaking Bad''s Bob Odenkirk, 'Sherlock''s Martin Freeman, Billy Bob Thornton and more, you betcha!
Where the earlier teasers only occasionally focused on a handful of characters, instead utilizing the iconic Fargo scenery and a few deadly-seeming props to sell the tone of the series, FX's full 'Fargo' trailer brings the whole kit and kaboodle, story-wise. The unsuspecting law enforcement agents barely grasp that they're looking at an organized crime event, while everyone from strippers to henpecked salesman seem to have their own colorful take on the bloodshed around them.
Most recently adding comedy duo Key & Peele, FX’s ‘Fargo’ also features Allison Tolman as Marge Gunderson-esque Deputy Molly Solverson, Colin Hanks as Duluth Police Deputy Gus Grimly, along with ‘Always Sunny‘ star Glenn Howerton as ambitious personal trainer Don Chumph, Kate Walsh as Gina Hess, a former stripper raising twin teenagers, Oliver Platt as supermarket king Stavros Milos, as well as roles for Adam Goldberg, Joey King, Peter Breitmayer, Tom Musgrave, and Josh Close.
FX's 'Fargo' will formally premiere its first (and potentially only) season on April 15, so take a look at the first full trailer above, and tell us if you'll tune in for a new adaptation of the Coen bros. 1996 Oscar-winner!
