Dubuque's Millwork Night Market rearranged its schedule to avoid conflicting with the big baseball game this past week at the Field of Dream in Dyersville. So it's game on this Thursday evening for one of Dubuque's top summer evening events!

Typically held on the second Thursday of the month, except for the August switch-up, the once-a-month mid-week party will continue into October.

If you haven't yet been this year, don't miss out on the three remaining events featuring dozens of fresh produce vendors, arts, crafts, food trucks, and adult beverages served by the Dubuque Jaycees.

The Millwork Night Market isn't just for shopping for local goods. It's also a fantastic venue to experience the renovated and dynamic Millwork District, hear live music, and enjoy a fun evening with family, friends, and the entire community. You are encouraged to bring easy-to-carry lawn or camping chairs to enjoy the festive street market vibe.

After all, the vision for the Millwork District is to be a place to Live, Work and Play and the Night Market helps move it toward being a place for Tri-State residents to play and enjoy.

The Night Market is also a terrific way to shop locally for farm-fresh produce, meat, dairy, art, and household items. You keep your dollars in Dubuque by supporting the local vendors, which keeps our local economy strong.

This is a free, all-ages, family-friendly event. The hours are from 5 pm to 8 pm, Thursday, August 18. The Millwork Night Market is at Jackson St. between 7th and 9th Streets, with parking available on nearby streets and the City Parking ramp two blocks away at 10th and Elm St.

Dubuque's Riverview Park Provides Spectacular Views & Affordable Camping

Life along the Mississippi River remains as Twain described it 139 years ago. While the river and the towns lining its bank may be tamer today than in Twain's time, there remains a calming allure to resting on the riverbank and watching it flow.

Dubuque's City-owned and operated 20-acre Miller Riverview Park and Campground is one of the best places to relax and enjoy the mighty Mississippi.
