Dubuque Police Investigate Suspicious Death on Sunday

Here's the official release from the Dubuque Police Department.

On December 3rd, 2017, at approximately 11:20 p.m., Dubuque Police responded to 981 High Bluff Street on the report of a deceased female inside the residence. Upon arrival, officers located the body of an adult female and determined the death was suspicious in nature. The cause of death has not been officially determined and the investigation is ongoing. Police do not believe this was a random act or that the general public is in any danger as it pertains to this incident. The identity of the decedent is not being released as family notifications are still in progress. More information will be released later tonight or early tomorrow morning.
