‘Pitch Perfect’ Stars Anna Camp and Skylar Astin Have Split
Anna Camp and Skylar Astin have broken up after two years of marriage.
The Pitch Perfect stars, who met on the set of the hit movie in 2012, announced their decision to split in a joint statement to People. “We can confirm that we have decided to separate, and this decision was made mutually and amicably. We kindly ask for privacy as we navigate this transition,” they wrote.
A source also told the website, “[Skylar] stopped wearing his ring and has started talking about the split with friends.” Meanwhile, Camp hinted at the split after she posted a photo of a glass of wine and a screenshot of Alicia Keys‘ song “Brand New Me” on her Instagram Stories on Thursday (April 18).
The two, who appear to no longer be following each other on social media, haven’t made a public appearance together since October but they looked happy in a photo Astin posted on New Year’s Eve.
The pair started dating in 2013 and went on to tie the knot in September 2016. During an interview with Glamour in 2014, Camp opened up about her relationship with Astin, admitting, “We were friends first and just hit it off, He’s just so great, and he’s a Libra too. We didn’t really have a scene together, but he’s just such a fun guy. He’s great.”
