We are celebrating the anniversary of the Americans with Disability Act. July 26th commemorated the signing of the landmark Federal legislation Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
On June 6th, 1944 allied forces stormed the beaches of Normandy in France. This was the theater of battle and one of the most pivotal attacks against the German war machine in World War II. Originally known as codename Operation Overlord it would become known as D-Day and the beginning of the end for World War II.
The Dubuque Chorale is officially 50 years old. Join the celebration at their 50th Anniversary Concert performed Saturday, May 14th, at 7:30 pm, and again on Sunday, May 15th at 2:00 pm, at the Grand Opera House in Dubuque.
