Each year the Dubuque County Fairgrounds and Event Center hosts a safe trick-or-treating event in their parking lot.  It's call Trunk or Treat.  This year's event is Thursday, October 20th from 5:30 to 7 pm. The concept is very simple.  Youngsters can walk the fairgrounds parking lot collecting treats from vehicles staffed by area businesses and decorated for Halloween (these are known as "Trunkers")

This annual event is a great way for kids to have fun and try out their Halloween costumes before hitting the neighborhood to trick or treat on Halloween night.

Admission is only $1 per trick-or-treater.  Tickets can be purchased at the Fairgrounds the night of the event. Sign up to be a "Trunker".  Please bring enough candy and treats for 700+ kids! Set up starts at 4:30 pm in the fairgrounds parking lot!
