As the current school year concludes, St. Mark Youth Enrichment is already planning for the next, gearing up for its annual school supply drive to support students in the East Dubuque, Dubuque, and Western Dubuque school districts.

Kickoff the Event with Dubuque's Great Give Day, Tomorrow:

The campaign will launch during the Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque’s Great Give Day. St. Mark will host an information booth at the Foundation’s live event at Washington Park on Wednesday, May 15th, from 4:30 to 6:30 pm, where visitors can learn about the program and its impact on local families and students.

Last year, community members, volunteers, and businesses helped St. Mark assist approximately 3,600 students. This year, the organization is preparing to meet a growing need as families recover from economic challenges. These efforts will impact more than 3,600 students across 30 area elementary, middle, and high schools.

St. Mark partners with Hartig Drug Stores and other local vendors to procure supplies at the best value, ensuring donations stretch further. The cost to fill a bag for one student is as low as $53, covering essentials like crayons, pencils, and notebooks.

Families in need of school supplies should contact their school’s counselor to be added to the supply list. St. Mark is committed to providing supplies to local Title 1 Schools, ensuring each student receives a bag of necessary supplies.
