Now, a miniseries will share the story of Lyric and Elizabeth; and hopefully help find additional information about just what happened years ago.

On July 13th, 2012, cousins Elizabeth Collins and Lyric Cook-Morrissey, aged eight and ten respectively, went missing in Evansdale.

Reports confirmed that the two girls were last spotted alive riding their bikes near Meyers Lake (later renamed Angels Park) on July 13th at around 12:30 PM.

Less than four hours later, the children's bikes and Elizabeth's purse were found on the southeast corner of Meyers Lake...with no Lyric or Elizabeth in sight, according to Iowa Cold Cases.

Just about five months later on December 5th, 2012 hunters discovered two bodies in the Seven Bridges Wildlife Park. Five days later, officials confirmed that the discovered remains were those of Lyric and Elizabeth.

The case remains unsolved.
