A spicy summer event is coming up this weekend.

On June 21st and 22nd, A Taboo Burlesque Revue is happening in Davenport. It will be at the Village Theatre in the Village of East Davenport. It will be a sultry show featuring vintage glamour combined with modern elements, beautiful costumes, and choreography that highlights the art of the tease.

For both nights, the doors will open at 7:00 p.m. with the show beginning at 8 and going until about 10:00. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. It will be hosted by performer and romance novelist Kitty Bardot.

About Taboo Burlesque

Taboo Burlesque is a Quad Cities-based Classic Burlesque troupe started by Kinky Taboo that features both individual and group performances. She has selected every member of the troupe. They are based in the Village Theatre in Davenport.

Since a lot of the money made at the shows goes back into the craft and working on costumes, if there is a particular Taboo Burlesque performer that you enjoy, you'll be able to tip them at Taboo Tips.

You can get more details about Taboo Burlesque on their Facebook page and their website. Get tickets for the revue this weekend on Taboo Burlesque's website.

The troupe, which made their debut in Davenport in 2021, has multiple shows throughout the year. If you can't make it to the revue this weekend, they will also have revue shows in October and December too.

The Village Theatre is at 2113 East 11th Street in the Village of East Davenport.
