Just a week after KWWL reported the restaurant was closed, Dubuque's Rusty Taco location finds itself listed as for sale on RE/MAX's website.

The location at 3333 Asbury Road in Dubuque, right near the intersection of JFK Road, was listed by David Sandman of RE/MAX Advantage. The asking price is $650,000, but the premier location and the fact that the building has numerous amenities makes the six-figure ask reasonable.

The 4,507 square-foot building features ample seating, a commercial kitchen, two ADA baths, an outdoor patio, party room, and full bar. The sale includes all the equipment, signage, audio/video equipment, lighting, security equipment, tables, chairs, outdoor patio furniture, POS system, and even more.

The building was built in 1971, but the owner of the location invested over $1 million into the property, which explains why it's packed with all the aforementioned features. Anyone who went to Rusty Taco and indulged in a margarita or an appetizer knew that they spared no expense in making a restaurant that was hip and modern.

For those who never got to experience Rusty Taco for themselves, their website tells you all you need to know about the eatery:

Rusty’s commitment to making everything fresh and by hand inspires us daily, but his “little taco stand” is more than just a place to eat and drink. He always wanted it to be a place where everyone would feel welcome. That’s why we make it all with love – from our warm chips to our ice-cold margaritas – so no matter who you are, if you’re hungry, you’re in the right place.

Dubuque's Rusty Taco informed loyal patrons they were closing on January 7th via Facebook. As of January 17th, no further update has been given regarding the recent RE/MAX listing of the property at 3333 Asbury Road.
