Christmas Magic, “Wish Boxes,” and More Coming to Poopsie’s in Galena
Poopsie's has been a beacon of entertainment and joy for the Tri-States for years now. That isn't about to change during the holiday season, as the crew at the Galena shop are gearing up for a seasonal spin on one of their flagship events.
On the first Tuesday of every month, Poopsie's hosts "Laughs and Law Enforcement," which affords area children an opportunity to meet and mingle with Galena police officers. They are given free money with which to shop, and can play games with officers as well! The entire event is predicated around fostering strong relationships between officers and the children (and citizens as a whole) whom they protect. They also host "Shop with a Cop" events, a similar concept.
"Shop with a Cop" with a Christmas Twist!:
Come December 6th, Poopsie's is hosting their "Christmas Shop with a Cop" event at their store in Galena (located at 402 South Main Street). This is an extra special event, as kids can also fill their Christmas Wish Boxes!
How it works: kids fill their Wish Box with fun goodies, toys, and wishes. Poopsie's then stores the Wish Boxes for people (like Santa Claus) to come shop out of them ahead of Christmas Day!
Many Fun Activities for Children:
Like other "Shop with a Cop" events, every child gets FREE money to use at Poopsie's! Galena police officers will be on seen to meet with children, and even let them see a squad car up close! Kids are free to challenge officers to different games with the chance to win awesome prizes.
And no Poopsie's event would be complete without an appearance from Spot the Monster, Poopsie's fun loving mascot! Light snacks, treats, and additional activities will be provided! All for free!

Poopsie's "Christmas Shop with a Cop" event is taking place on December 6th from 4:30 - 6:30p. Poopsie's is located at 402 South Main Street in Galena.
