BurgerFiend is Moving Back to Its Former Cedar Rapids Location

A Cedar Rapids burger joint has decided to move back into its old location and join forces with the restaurant that now resides there! BurgerFiend announced on Facebook this week that they are moving back to Center Point Road. The post reads:

"Exciting news! Burgerfiend will be moving to the Breakfast Barn! Both businesses will now be under the same roof at 3980 Center Point Rd NE Cedar Rapids, IA , 52402 . Enjoy sit-down ordering and use the Breakfast Barn for all online orders."

BurgerFiend's current location at 2020 16th Ave SW in Cedar Rapids was in operation from 2014 to 2017, but was then closed to focus on Center Point Road location. According to the Cedar Rapids Gazette, the restaurant decided to reopen that 16th Ave location in the spring of 2021. Just a few months later, BurgerFiend closed the Center Point Road restaurant, making the 16th Ave location the only one in town.

In early 2022, the folks behind BurgerFiend decided to turn the former Center Point Road location into a new restaurant called the Breakfast Barn and Lunch House. Now, Breakfast Barn and Lunch House will share that location with BurgerFiend.

The final day of business for the 16th Ave location of BurgerFiend is today, July 12th, and the official website says they are open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The post on BurgerFiend's Facebook page reads:

"We will be open at our current location through Friday, so stop-in and say good bye before the big move!"
