4 Hermanos Officially Opens Cedar Rapids Location

A new Cedar Rapids Mexican restaurant has started welcoming customers! 4 Hermanos Mexican Food is now open at 1125 1st Avenue SE inside the former home of Via Sofia's. The official Facebook post reads:

"Hey Amigos! We are so excited to open doors on First Ave in Cedar Rapids, IA. We are now open for business!"

According to the post, the restaurant will be open for the remainder of the week from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., but they are still waiting for their alcohol license to be approved. The restaurant is open for both dine-in or take-out. You can check out the new location's menu below. Carry-out orders can be placed by calling 319-249-3121.

This is actually the second location for 4 Hermanos. Their original restaurant remains open at 1725 Boyson Road in Hiawatha. It was announced in June that 4 Hermanos would be expanding into Cedar Rapids, shortly after Via Sofia's revealed that they would be shutting down operations at their 1st Ave restaurant. However, there is still a Via Sofia's location in Cedar Rapids. It remains open at 5411 Center Point Rd NE.

4 Hermanos first opened in December of 2023 and continues to have lots of positive reviews. In fact, it is recommended by 100% of customers on its Facebook review page! Some of the most popular menu items from the restaurant on DoorDash include the Churros, Super Nachos, Iowa Burrito, Arroz con Pollo, and Taco de Carne Asada. They are also open daily for breakfast.
