Is Wisconsin One Of The Best Overall States? Report Says…
Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder so don't take this too seriously, unless you want to of course. U.S. News & World Report just released a list of the overall best states in the country.
The study ranks each and every state from overall best to, well, not the best. Minnesota did super well here, being named the fourth best state in the country.
What About Wisconsin?
Wisconsin didn't do quite as well as Minnesota but the Cheesehead State still did pretty good considering! A little friendly competition never hurt anyone either, right?

Wisconsin Named One Of The Best Overall States
Wisconsin has been named the 17th best state in the country, according to this report. Considering how many states Wisconsin had to fight off here, this is pretty impressive!

We all know Wisconsin is great and nobody can say that it isn't also super fun! Georgia, North Carolina and Connecticut follow, rounding out the top twenty. This is really a reason to celebrate.
Which Factors Made Wisconsin Do So Well?
This list was made using 71 metrics across eight different categories, including the following:
- Crime & Economics
- Economy
- Education
- Fiscal Stability
- Health Care
- Infrastructure
- Natural Environment
- Opportunity
I think Wisconsin is pretty great and it's nice that it ranked in the top half of the list! Next year, I want Minnesota and Wisconsin to be ranked first and second, in no particular order.
