Judas Priest will commemorate their world tour in support of 2014's Redeemer of Souls LP with a live CD/DVD package titled Battle Cry.

The set, due March 25, collects 15 performances from the group's Aug. 1, 2015, stop at Germany's Wacken Festival, where they played to an audience of 85,000. DVD and Blu-ray editions of the release add on three bonus tracks from their Dec. 10, 2015, show at the Ergo Arena in Gdansk, Poland.

According to the Battle Cry press release, the set list combines newer fan favorites with "headbanging classics" from Judas Priest's extensive catalog, proving that "one of the greatest live bands in the entire heavy metal genre" still rocks "harder and more ferociously than ever." Battle Cry looks likely to serve as a snack between meals for Judas Priest fans, who already have the band's next album to look forward to. According to guitarist Richie Faulkner, members of the group have had discussions about finding time in 2016 to meet up in the studio "and putting down some ideas and seeing what we’ll come up with." Faulkner's comments echo sentiments expressed by singer Rob Halford, who's made it clear he's not looking for a lot of downtime between Priest LPs. "Who wants to go home and sit down for a year?" he asked. "Especially while the band is buzzing and the energy’s there creatively."
